Our trainer, Andrew Gale, is a fully qualified Boatsafe Training provider and a fully accredited Queensland Transport Driving instructor. As well as being highly experienced in the operation of both vessels and vehicles, Andrew holds a number of licences and teaching and assessing qualifications including -

o Restricted Master Class 5 Certificate
o Open Coxswain Certificate
o Class HC and R Driver Licence
o Passenger Bus Authorisation
o Certificate 4 in Training and Assessment
o Certificate 4 in Driving Instruction
o Senior 1st Aid
o Blue Card (child related employment)
o Restricted Radio Operators Certificate of Proficiency
o Marine Radio Licence Invigilator

Prior to establishing this business in 2006, Andrew served 18 years in the Queensland Police Service, serving at a number of city and small country stations, as well as spending 8 years in the Water Police. In conjunction with his Police Service, Andrew also willingly gave up his time to serve in the Australian Volunteer Coast Guard, the State Emergency Service (SES) and the Queensland Fire and Rescue Service.

As a Police Officer, Andrew witnessed numerous accidents and tragedies 1st hand, and their consequences. As a result, he is passionate about and highly committed to providing the highest levels of quality training available, to ensure his students are suitably equipped to safely, operate their cars or boats on our roadways and waterways.

Andrew still certainly likes to visit the coast to go fishing but is glad to return to a more relaxed Warwick at the end of the day. Andrew's experience and qualifications as a vessel operator in coastal, offshore and inland areas are unquestionably of an exceptionally high standard and by attending one of our courses you can benefit from his experience. Some people think that you have to travel to the coast to get the best boat licence training but not so. Andrew is one of the most highly trained and qualified people in the boat licensing industry. This matched with his friendly and laid back, yet professional teaching style will ensure that you become a safe boat or car operator for life.
